Deleting my links

I am sorry to inform you that I am deleting the links in my sidebar of all my friends and family. I hate to do this because I know so many of you use my blog to get to other people's blogs and see when people update. I made this decision because of my business. I know that my clients look at my blog and I just like to keep my family and friends life private. I just wouldn't want a bunch of people blog stalking all of you because of me. So for all of your well being/safety/ect... I have decided to go ahead and delete all of the links. I will however still be following all of you through Google Reader and see when people update and stuff. So if there are some blog links you guys would like from me so that you can still read up on them, let me know and I would be happy to pass them on to you guys. Thanks for your understanding.

Combining Forces

So my friend Casey (owner and designer of Hot Bliggity Blog) also does blog designs. We both have our own business but decided to get into our card business together. I think this is great because I feel like we will be able to reach out to many different audiences. We have 2 very different styles, which I think is pretty cool. I feel very confident that everyone will be able to find something they LOVE. There are going to be some changes and some new things. First we are changing the name. It will be Your Card Bakery and be the place where you can find any and all kinds of cards. Also, I have always done the printing...but now we will also offer an option where we will design it, and you can buy the copyright to the image allowing you to bring it to your favorite printer and print them yourself...as many as you want. We are going to start working on changing up the site to be "Your Card Bakery" and get many more cards uploaded for order. Right now I have 22 cards on there for Christmas that I have designed. I have many more in the process, and Casey will also start uploading hers soon. You will be able to see on there which one of us designed which card. We hope that combining forces we will have a larger audience and be able to reach out to everyone's styles. You can see my Christmas cards HERE. Halloween

I hope everyone had a fabulous Halloween. I can definitely say that holidays are much more fun with a child. Riley was a monkey and Allen was the Travelocity gnome. So funny! He sure turned a few heads :)

Oh my gosh!

So since we have been out of town, I was not able to get Riley in for his 6 month check up until now. He is almost 7 months now, so it's a bummer that we just now got him in. Here is the charts:

Height: 28 inches (86.16%tile)
Weight: 14.2 pounds (1.66%tile)
Head Circumference: 17 inches (23.84%tile)

Yes, you read that right! Out of 100 babies Riley's age, only ONE is skinnier. How sad is that. He eats like a horse and is so skinny. He is in 6-12 month clothes and only his 0-3 month pants fit around his waist. Obviously we can't put him in them because they are super short. So we have to safty pin his pants. Oh it is so sad how skinny he is. I am also so sad that he isn't very tall anymore. I mean, he is still tall, but has dropped from the 94%tile to the 86%tile. SAD!

The doctor said they are going to keep a close eye on his weight over the next few months. He said that he needs to gain some significant weight by 9 months, or they are going to do some tests. He said it could be some medical issues. So let's hope that my boy gains some good weight!

Little Helmet Boy!

Remember when I said Riley has a flat head and has to wear a helmet to correct it? Well here are some pictures of him in his helmet. It still makes me laugh.





Oh gosh this boy is a hoot. He is such a joy, and fun to live with. We sure love him! When we left on our trip the helmet got a little warped from the sun, so he couldn't wear it. Well we got it fixed when we came back. He is almost to full time wear, which means he can only have it off for 1 hour each day so he can bathe and we can clean it. He does so great with it on, and is still so cute. We love you bug!
